Our Mission: To encourage spiritual growth, personal development and leadership among women and to contribute to the general welfare of the home, church, community and world.
Greetings to You, Women in Ministry: Where do I begin? We are combining the winter and spring issues of Chatline so may I say, Happy New Year, Happy Valentine’s Day, Happy Easter and Happy Mother’s Day! I don’t think I can write to you without mentioning the SNOW! Wow, I have nr seen anything like it! But, we have been warm, well fed, had power and have been safe. Praise the Lord for His love and keeping! I want to especially encourage you and your women to attend our 2010 Women’s Conference at the Easton Church of God April 16 and 17. Our theme is: What’s Important Now? WIN! In the world of competitive sports, many very good and promising athletes will compete for a title and even dream of obtaining the In any contest, the important factor is not how many begin the competition but who finishes the race and completes the course, who wins the prize. Scripture teaches us that life is like a race that has been set before us. We may struggle and face many obstacles, but we have a great crowd of witnesses who are cheering us on. We have a Heavenly Father who loves us and will help us when the pain is too great. We have a Savior, who left His place in Heaven and came to earth to show us how to run the If we keep our eyes on him, how can we help but finish the race? We will WIN! I don’t think it will be very long until we reach the finish line – Heaven! Get your running shoes on and join me at Easton as we learn to better equip ourselves for the race. Our speakers will be Cynthia Ackerman, Rosalind Lynch and Gail Price and they will challenge us with the Word of God. You are very special to me and I appreciate you! I look forward to seeing those of you who will be attending the retreat in Willow Valley next week. Thank you for your continued support of our projects. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you! I love you! Lynda
